Louisville’s first seltzer brewery is now open.

Located at 828 E. Main St. and part of NuLu Marketplace, The Local Seltzery plays with a variety of proprietary seltzer flavors — both alcoholic and non — which you can try as a flight. It also offers six local beers on draft and soon, cocktails.

All the Seltzery’s flavors are vegan, all-natural, gluten-free, under 100 calories + and have an ABV of 5%. The seltzers are mixed with vodka using a special flavor gun.

The effervescent new business features a bronze and teal color palette, a bubble motif across the walls, and a lofted lounge area. Its logo was designed by local artist Francis Thomasovich.

In addition to indoor seating options, there’s also an outdoor area called the “Seltzery Alley,” which should be a perfect spot to sip this weekend as the forecast calls for warmer temps.

We got all warm and fizzy to give you our three must-try flavors. Go check them out this weekend, today or tomorrow from 12 p.m.-2 a.m., or on Sunday from 12-8 p.m.

🥤 Kiss a Ginger

Kiss of ginger? More like a chef’s kiss. This cranberry ginger seltzy is the most popular for a reason. It’s the perfect balance of both flavors and almost too easy to drink.

🥤 Peaches Ain’t Sh*t

Like a liquid peach ring, this one shows us you don’t have to move to the country to enjoy millions of peaches — you can drink them instead in one four ounce pour.

🥤 Ruby Red Sipper

You simply can’t go wrong with grapefruit flavored alcohol in our estimation. We’re clicking our heels not to go home, but to get another glass.
