Recently, a reader reached out to us asking where to donate used business clothing to give it a second life. We put out the word, and other readers delivered. Here are some places they recommended:

HighPoint Clothes Closet

This charitable organization has a volunteer-operated clothing closet among its programs. Check out the donation drop-off hours, or consider donating your time as well.

UofL Hire Attire

A wing of the Student Success Center, Hire Attire provides free business clothes to UofL students for interviews, job fairs, and internships. Smaller sized men’s clothing, women’s blouses, and full suits are in the highest demand.

Bonus: You can order items directly to Hire Attire via their Amazon wishlist.

New Leaf Clinic

You can drop off donations any time this clinic is open, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Note: Men’s clothing is in high demand.

Seven Counties

Clothing donations are accepted at any of this organization’s locations around Louisville, which provide mental health and addiction services.
