Louisville Beer Week 2021

The 4th annual Louisville Beer Week, organized by the Louisville Ale Trail, kicks off today + runs through Fri., Oct. 29. This weeklong event — themed around The Roaring Twenties — celebrates the historic and evolving Louisville beer scene with 20+ beer releases and events.

We’re highlighting the most anticipated beer releases + breaking down all the must do events happening across Derby City.

Sip slowly because there is a lot to take in here.

Beer Releases

  • Science Hill Sour Ale | Fri., Oct. 22 | 2-11 p.m. | Mile Wide Beer Co. | Try this trail mix-inspired sour beer brewed in collaboration with Nashville brewery, Southern Grist.
  • Pack Away Vienna Lager | Mon., Oct. 25 | 11 a.m.-11 p.m. | West Sixth NuLu | Get your hands on a draft beer or 6-pack of this classic German-style beer with toasted malt + a dry finish.
  • Pumpkin Spice Latte Cream Ale | Wed., Oct. 27 | 3 p.m. | Gallant Fox Brewing | Sip this malty version of the PSL.
  • West Louisville Coffee Beer | Thurs., Oct. 28 | 3 p.m. | TEN20 Brewing | Snag a pint of this brew made with local roastery, West Lou Coffee.
  • Halloween Candy-Themed Beer | Fri., Oct. 29 | 5-9 p.m. | Enjoy a special tapping of several classic candy flavored beers from this newly-opened Butchertown brewery.

  • Pints from the Past | Mon., Oct. 25 | 7 p.m. | The Whirling Tiger, 1335 Story Ave. | Meet at Against the Grain’s newest concept in Butchertown + learn about Louisville beer history.
  • Women in Beer | Wed., Oct. 27 | 7-8:30 p.m. | Logan Street Market | Listen to this all-woman panel have a candid discussion about breaking boundaries + stigmas in the beer industry.
