The forecast for July in Derby City is hot and sunny with a 100% chance of food.

From a day of plant-based foods to an entire week of burgers and a party celebrating all things rosé, these six events are sure to make you drool.

Bluegrass VegFest | Saturday, July 15

Over 15 restaurants from across the country will converge at the Mellwood Art Center to celebrate (and eat) vegan fare. Admission is free and includes fitness classes, speakers, and 50+ vendors.

Louisville Burger Week | Monday, July 17-Sunday, July 23

Legend has it Derby City invented the cheeseburger in 1934, so it would feel wrong not to have an entire week dedicated to the American classic. Get $7 specialty burgers at 25+ area restaurants.

Don’t miss the kick off party on Thursday, July 13 with $5 Dirty Burger Sliders at Against the Grain downtown.

Street Food Festival | Saturday, July 22-Sunday July 23

For the first time, Louisville food trucks + restaurants will take over Fourth Street Live! to dish out items priced at $5 or less. Entry tickets are $7.99 and include a free drink. The family-friendly event will also have a cheese fry bar, eating competitions, mechanical bull riding, axe throwing, and more.

Latino Festival | Saturday, July 29

Try food from Louisville Latino food trucks, like Ramiro’s Cantina, and enjoy a DJ, dancing, and performers at the Big Four Lawn.

Summer Beer Fest at Frazier | Saturday, July 29

Tickets are $10-$85 for this Main Street festival where 200+ regional brews will be poured. Plus, food, vendors, a fun zone, and live music will keep you entertained between beers.

Rosè Soirée | Sunday, July 30

Back for its third year, this 21+ wine-driven party will have a special rosé menu to sip while listening to jazzy tunes from Squeeze-bot in the garden.
