You know your dog is the best. But with a busy schedule, Fido might not always get all the walks, attention + enrichment he needs.

At the request of 1 of our readers, we’ve put together this quick list of local dog walkers and sitters, obedience classes + places to play in town.

🐾 Walk

Based in the East End, this company provides dog walking services in 30-45 minute + 1-hour increments for up to 2 dogs. The company also offers pet sitting, sleepovers, and a taxi service to ferry your furry friends to the vet or other locations.

Choose between a 20 or 30-minute walk and 1 of Paws’ professional dog walkers will take up to 2 dogs on a walk around the block. Pro tip: dogs must already be leash-trained for this service.

Get the “Basic Break” daily service — a 20-minute walk with quality time + treats. You can also get pics of your pet sent to you via email during the day. If your pet needs more time, simply upgrade to the “30 minute Standard Service Break.”

Bring your dog to post-work social gatherings at this dog park-themed bar. Club K9 operates on a membership model where you can purchase daily, monthly, or full-year access to the bar’s 1.5-acre dog run area + 7,000 sqft of off-leash space.

Set your dog up for an afternoon of play with a limited drop-off and pick-up service for $25 a day. Playtime is supervised + lasts 1.5-2 hours in a secure, controlled environment that’s bound to wear out your pup. Peanut’s also offers 20-30 minute dog walks + cage-free boarding.

The Louisville Dog Run Association, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, operates 8 official off-leash dog parks around the city. Membership to the LDRA is $40 for your first dog — which gets you unlimited access to all 8 parks until Dec. 31, 2022.
