For 30+ years, Southern Living has been creating signature custom homes celebrating life in the South. This year’s Southern Living Idea House was built in Louisville at 7820 Sutherland Farm Rd. and is the first to be made in Kentucky.

Tours of the 2021 Idea House will run through Dec. 19. Tickets are $25 and a portion of the sales benefit both Gilda’s Club Kentuckiana and The LEE Initiative.

Located in the Breakers at Prospect community, the Colonial Greek Revival cottage brings old house charm to a new building + exists to inspire visitors to build or decorate their own homes. Named Riverbend, the 5,170-sqft home was designed by Atlanta-based architect Brandon Ingram. The house broke ground in late 2020 and was built by 2 local builders, Jason Black and Jimmy King of Artisan Signature Homes.
