Louisville local logos. Say that 3x fast.

You’ve been around the LOU block enough to know that the fleur-de-lis is the city’s tried and true symbol. Since being made popular by the city’s namesake, King Louis XVI, in the 18th century, many local logo designs feature the decorative lily — from ZA’s Pizza Pub on Bardstown Road to being the centerpiece of Lou City FC’s primary mark.

While you might know this symbol well, do you think you can recognize other Louisville logos? Put your knowledge to the test + see if you can identify them all.

DYK: The fleur-de-lis was officially adopted by the city in 2003 when Louisville and Jefferson County merged. It’s now the city’s seal flanked by two stars + the year 1778 — the founding year of Louisville.
