Bacon-flavored candy canes, gurgling fish pottery + mink fur rings are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the gift selection at The Stocking Stuffer, a new seasonal holiday shopping experience inside Mall St. Matthews.

The turquoise-colored pop-up store — which is the brainchild of Louisvillians Tiffany Woodard of Tiffany Woodard Designs + Ryan Daly from Lapis Laser Display — opened last week across from JCPenney.

You have to see the gurgling fish — which doubles as a vase.

Its mint green, fur-lined shelves + white and pink Christmas tree displays feature trinkets, home goods, toys, and more — all with a layer of novelty or nostalgia.

Here are 3 of our favorite things:

  • Novelty: Handerpants — they’re underpants for your hands — aka gloves, we think
  • Practical luxury: Incense matches
  • Nostalgia: 1960s Mod London paper dolls

We loved the novelty of the Handerpants.
