Three metaphysical shops to visit in Louisville, KY

Come sisters, we fly!

The moving image zooms in on a storefront that reads "The Bodhi Tree." Then the camera pans to a table neatly arranged with crystals and the camera pans again to show a bookshelf full of tarot decks.

The Bodhi Tree is open at 6306 Meeting St. in Norton Commons.

The season is nigh to get in touch with your inner mystic.

Luckily, there are multiple shops in Derby City that allow you to do just that — no matter if it’s spooky season or not. After all, Halloween isn’t just a holiday, it’s a lifestyle.

3 metaphyscial shops to visit:

🔮 Stix-N-Stonz, 2234 Dundee Rd.
This Belknap-based shop is like a brick-and-mortar encyclopedia of the metaphysical — from pendulums to guides on magical beings and reiki healing — you’ll want to slowly meander through the store to take it all in.

What we’re buying: Zodiac sign posters for $1.95 (you can get all 12 for ~$23.40)

🔮 Unorthodox, 968 Barret Ave.
Jewelry, novelty stickers, greeting cards, and bones are just a few of the things you’ll find in this Highlands-based oddity shop.

What we’re buying: “Kentucky Haunts” by Daniel Meyer.

🔮 The Bodhi Tree at Norton Commons, 6306 Meeting St.
Named for the sacred fig tree where the Buddha reached enlightenment, this newly-opened collective is home to spiritual practitioners and healers + its retail side offers tarot card decks, fairy chairs, crystals, and incense.

What we’re buying: A session with Ray’s Aura Portraits — and check out the portrait we got back in July.
