Want to help set a record in your own community while supporting women’s sports? Here’s your chance. Louisvillians are invited to the Racing Louisville FC game against the Chicago Red Stars on Sat., Aug. 27 at 7:30 p.m. where they hope to break the Lynn Family Stadium attendance record. See US Women’s National soccer team stars Emily Fox and Jaelin Howell of Racing Louisville and Mallory Pugh and Alyssa Naeher of Chicago face off in this must-see match in the best professional women’s soccer league in the world.

Fast facts

  • The Fan Zone opens at 6 p.m. at Gate 5, where attendees can get $2 beers and play lawn games while kids enjoy inflatables + more.
  • Gates to the rest of the stadium open at 6:30 p.m.
  • The first 1,000 fans will get an exclusive t-shirt.
  • There will also be a poster + fan clapper giveaway for the first 2,500 fans.
  • Stick around for the postgame fireworks.
  • Tickets for this match ($12+) — and for the rest of the season — are on sale now.
