Calling all soccer fans: LouCity’s final season game is right around the corner. On Saturday, Oct. 14, they’ll host the Tampa Bay Rowdies at Lynn Family Stadium. This game marks the continuation of an ongoing rivalry between the teams who, outside of the regular season, have previously met postseason in the 2020, 2021, and 2022 USL Championship’s Eastern Conference Finals.

LouCity is once again looking to finish their season strong. The team, currently in fifth place, is eyeing a top-four place in USL Eastern Conference standings, which would allow them to host a playoff game.

They recently surprised fans with the unveiling of a surprise third kit (AKA jersey) during the team’s game against Harford Athletic last weekend. The kits are black with logos featuring a three-color gradient of blue, violet, and magenta. (Take a peek at the kits here.)

LouCity will wear the black kits again to close their regular season on Saturday, Oct. 14, and they’re asking fans to black out the stadium for the event. Fans can grab the kits along with other black merchandise, including T-shirts, hats, and scarves, online or at the Lynn Family Stadium team store (open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.).
