Here at LOUtoday, it’s always taco time. That’s why today we’re giving you 6 taco places for breakfast, lunch, dinner + a bonus late-night snack. After all, you can’t eat tacos all day if you don’t start in the morning.

So fasten your bibs, it’s taco time.

🌮Breakfast

FOKO, 1001 Logan St. #124 | Tues.-Sun., 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

Served with your choice of protein, scrambled eggs, avocado, and the restaurant’s signature sauces, these breakfast tacos are the perfect way to start your day with a little kick — which is why we recommend ordering the habanero + jalapeno sauces on the side.

🌮 Lunch

Taco N’ Madres, 2840 Goose Creek Rd. | Sat.-Sun, 12-5 p.m.

Get the wildly popular quesabirria tacos here and thank us later. You can also get the hearty stewed meat in a bread bowl, if you were curious.

🌮 Mid-afternoon snack

Taco Choza, 3922 Westport Rd. | Sun.-Thurs., 11 a.m.-9 p.m. + Fri.-Sat, 11 a.m.-10 p.m.

It’s easy to drive right past, but you’ll be sad you did, because this hidden gem in St. Matthews offers nearly 20 varieties of tacos with its birria tacos available every Tuesday.

🌮Dinner

Limón y Sal, 10000 Brownsboro Rd. | Mon.-Sat., 11 a.m.-10 p.m. + Sun., 11 a.m.-9 p.m.

This local restaurant celebrates its 4th birthday on Fri., July 1 + will be offering one free guacamole per table as well as $10 grande agave margaritas all day.

🌮Post-dinner hungries

Rincon Oaxaqueño Food Truck, 950 Barret Ave., Thursday-Saturday | 6-9 p.m. |

Few things pair better with your nightcap on the patio at ShopBar than these neatly-stacked tacos. While the truck doesn’t head to Barret Avenue until later in the week, check out The Merryweather for its joint Tacos & Tequilas event tonight, Tues., June 28.

🌮Late-night bite

La Bamba, 1237 Bardstown Rd. | Mon.-Tues., 10:30-3 a.m., Wed.-Thurs., 10:30-4 a.m., Fri.-Sat., 10:30-5 a.m. + Sun., 10:30-2:30 a.m.

Though La Bamba’s slogan focuses on its larger-than-life burritos, you’ll be hard-pressed to find another taco place that’s open until 5 a.m. that doesn’t end in Bell. Its selection of tacos go for only $3.25 apiece.
