Winner: Best LOU Spirit

Fun fact: In the 1950s, the first Louie the Cardinal mascot costume was made of paper mache. Now, thanks to reader Loren P., Louie’s made a glow up. With the Cardinals football team ranked in the Top-25, we love Loren’s timely LOU spirit. Go Cards.

Move over Mr. Potato Head — Congrats to reader Florence B. for this pumpkin pair plump with personality. “Louie” and “Ville” look like they’re ready to head out to the Spring Street Fall Festival or another event happening around Derby City this weekend.

Thanks to everyone who submitted their pumpkins in the contest. We think they would all fit in at nicely at the Jack O’Lantern Spectacular at Iroquois Park, which runs through Halloween.
