With the holidays approaching and multiple local resources reporting an increase in demand for assistance, there’s never been a better time to help your fellow Louisvillians with a donation.
Consider making a contribution to one of these local orgs:

  • Professional chefs with FeedLouisville cook meals for unhoused Louisvillians. The organization is seeking donations of items like peanut butter, pasta, and pancake mix.
  • Dare to Care is working towards a $55,000 goal which will provide 110,000 Thanksgiving meals this season.
  • The Kentucky Humane Society is providing pet food assistance — consider making a donation to support the organization’s pet retention services.
  • Four Pegs has set up a community food shelf. You can pick up or drop off shelf-stable goods any time the restaurant is open.

There are always more opportunities to help support your neighbors in need. If you know of a community organization or effort to help provide food, let us know so we can help spread the word.
