Shoutout to the 30 Kentucky companies that ranked among the fastest-growing private companies in the nation on the 2024 Inc. 5000 list.

Inc.com determines rankings according to percentage of revenue growth over a three-year period. The Louisville area is home to 11 companies that made the list this year, which includes businesses that had a median growth of 173% — seven of which are repeat honorees. Meet the Derby City companies that made the cut this year.

  • What it does: This manufacturer offers a range of organic CBD products like gummies, oils, capsules, creams, and balms. Bonus: Cofounder Jim Higdon is an an author and writer who has been published in The New York Times, The Washington Post, and Politico.

  • What it does: This is an insurance firm offering home warranties.

  • Growth: 366%
  • What it does: This agency provides creative marketing for beverage brands, with clients like Smirnoff, Ciroc, Bardstown Bourbon Company, and Captain Morgan — you may have seen Hawthorn’s ads during NFL games last fall.

  • Growth: 318%
  • What it does: This is a professional search and staffing firm. This is the fourth-straight year Ingenium has made the Inc.com list.

  • Industry: Financial Services
  • Growth: 204%
  • What it does: This firm offers retirement planning services + helps people develop a financial portfolio.

  • Growth: 173%
  • What it does: This is a construction + project management firm offering inspections located in Jeffersontown.

  • Growth: 149%
  • What it does: This cooperage creates barrels for distilleries, wineries, and breweries. Its clients include Willett Distillery, and you can purchase used barrels + other products — might make a good gift for the bourbon enthusiast in your life.
