Blanche Nail & Spa opens in Louisville

The largest nail salon in Kentucky opened this week on Westport Road in Louisville.

Blanche Nail & Spa at 10238 Westport Rd. between Party City and PetSmart, offers your typical nail salon services — manicures, pedicures, waxing, and eyelashes — for children and adults + a full-service bar and children’s play area.

The salon also features a VIP room for parties or individual renters ranging from $63-$90. In addition to luxury pedicures and a personal minibar, you can also get a complimentary charcuterie board depending on your party style.

The 4,800-sqft nail salon boasts 33 pedicure chairs and 30 manicure stations, which, in addition to making us wish we had more fingers and toes to offer, it also officially makes it the largest such establishment in the Bluegrass State.

The salon is owned and operated by siblings Diem, Nikki, Su, Tracy, and Viet Bach, who moved to Louisville from Vietnam in 1993. Since moving to Derby City, the family has been heavily involved in the local nail scene, operating Happy Nails in Louisville and Scottsburg, Indiana + LA Nails in Evansville, Indiana.

The name “Blanche” for the salon comes from the French translation of the family’s last name, “Bach.” The family said they chose this name for the influence France has had on Vietnamese culture, and guests can see other touches of French style in the salon’s interior design.

Blanche Nail & Spa is open 7 days a week from 9:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m. Monday-Friday + Sundays 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
