Once a single day of city-wide volunteer service and now in its 12th year, the Mayor’s Give A Day campaign has grown into a full month of Louisvillians lending a hand to their communities.
Throughout the entire month of April residents can participate in one of four ways — extra kudos if you manage all four.
- Sign up for one of the Mayor’s Give A Day volunteer opportunities — like helping out with the Central Park amphitheater beautification or preparing meals for people in need.
- Report your own volunteer service + share about it on social media using #MGAD2023.
- Do a random act of kindness .
- Donate money to the cause where funds are used to assist with Give A Day projects.
