Hotel Genevieve is open in NuLu — and this boutique hotel with major Wes Anderson-movie vibes isn’t just for tourists. There are multiple bars and restaurants + a market with a coffee bar for Louisvillians to enjoy on the regular.
Rosettes | Daily, 8 a.m.-11 p.m.
This ground-level restaurant dishes out a French-style menu inspired by African-American foodways and Appalachian cuisine.
The menu at a glance:
- Breakfast — roasted banana bread, goat cheese omelet, and a veggie quiche
- Dinner + Lunch — chicken with pomme puree, oxtail in French onion jus, country ham and benedictine, and a squash and onion tart
Rosettes is also open for late-night bites, 10-11 p.m. and weekend brunch, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. — menus for both are coming soon.
Mini Marché has a side entrance so shoppers can visit without ever entering the hotel.

This soon-to-be open, bright yellow market will be stocked with snacks like Louisville Vegan Jerky and BjornQorn, fresh produce, and other grocery staples. It will also have a full coffee bar with grab-and-go breakfast and lunch options.

Travel through a stickered yellow door inside the Mini Marché and you’ll find yourself in this dimly lit, velvet-covered speakeasy. It’s open late for cocktails + bar snacks.

Located on the sixth floor of the hotel, this bar boasts sweeping views of the city both inside from its giant, arched windows and outside on the rooftop patio.
