The weather is slowly turning, and the leaves won’t be far behind. But the most sure sign of fall is a new brew at your favorite coffee shop. We’ve rounded up five coffee shops serving autumn offerings to fulfill your fall needs.
Phalcha
Why limit yourself to just one fall drink? Phalcha’s signature coffee flights now carry a fall twist — get a sipping size of pumpkin spice, maple spice, and ube cardamom chai hot or iced. There are also stand alone options like the pistachio pandan and the apple caramel butter oat, plus an apple caramel waffle.
Sunergos
This Louisville chain’s fall menu includes the returning fan favorite Ube latte, plus hot apple cider and a classic pumpkin spice latte. You can also snag some fall food options like an oatmeal chai mini pie or a pumpkin pastry. Bonus: if you prefer making your coffee at home, snag a bag of the new Sasquatch fall blend beans, with notes of rasins, citrus, and brown sugar.
Safai
Whether you visit the Bardstown Road or the Logan Street Market location, get ready to spring into fall. Sample a spin on the pumpkin spice latte with a frozen pumpkin chocolate chip latte, or try the blueberry pancake latte drizzled with pie filling.
Hotel Marty
Tired of the PSL? Try the SPL — that’s spiced praline latte — at this Frankfort avenue spot. We also have our eye on the bonfire latte, served with marshmallows on top.
Heine Bros.
Two fan favorites, the pumpkin pie latte and the s’mores cold brew, are back this year, along with the brand new cranberry chai fizzler for those days when the summer weather just won’t quit. Bonus: There’s a chance the toasted marshmallow cold foam could be here to stay.
Quills
Starting Friday, Sept. 19 Quills will be serving all kinds of fall treats. Expect classic fall flavors like pumpkin and maple, along with blackberry and a new cold foam. They’ll also be serving new pastries from Bae’s Bakery, plus bringing back their Ommagourd fall bean blend.
