From Wednesday, Feb. 1 to Sunday, Feb. 11, 10+ downtown Louisville attractions will offer discounted admission + deals as part of the Louisville Downtown Partnership’s Hometown Tourism Celebration — trust us, tourism is trending in Derby City.

All you need is a valid Kentucky, Indiana, local college, or military ID. So let’s pile in the van and head downtown — and don’t make us turn this thing around.

Take off your coat and stay awhile

Several hotels are taking part by offering a special static rate for the entire celebration, so you really can get away.

  • AC Marriott
  • Hampton Inn Downtown
  • Omni Louisville
  • Hotel Genevieve
  • The Myriad Hotel

Book a room.

When in Rome...

A tourist’s experience in Louisville would not be complete without a few sips swigs — who are we kidding? — of bourbon. These distilleries + tasting rooms are serving tours and cocktails:

  • Angel’s Envy Distillery | Buy one, get one free tour + tasting
  • Buzzard’s Roost Whiskey Row Experience | 50% off admission
  • Evan Williams Bourbon Experience | 50% off admission

Day at the museum

Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it. Take the day off and head to these four museums, all offering 50% off regular admission.

Pro tip: Get a primer on Louisville’s museum scene before you go.

Now that’s entertainment

Louisville’s list of world-class performers includes more than just the field of horses in each year’s Kentucky Derby. Catch a show during your stay.

  • Louisville Ballet | 50% off admission
  • Kentucky Center for the Arts | Save $2 on tickets to “Number the Stars” from StageOne Family Theatre
