Locals Food Hub and Pizza Pub is now open on Broadway

As the name implies, the ingredients are from nearby Kentucky farms.

The corner of a historic building has been remodeled to become a pizza pub.

The Louisville location was preceded by one other Locals in Kentucky, located in Frankfort.

Here at LOUtoday everything we do is hyper-local, and today we’re taking a look at a new business that passes the vibe check.

Locals Food Hub and Pizza Pub is now open on East Broadway daily at 9 a.m. The spot is part of the Epping District, and is located next door to the East Broadway Theater.

Here’s a sample of what’s on the menu, which is served daily beginning at 11 a.m.

  • Apps like cheese bread, chicken wings, meatballs, and artichoke dip
  • 14 wood-fired pizzas, including a build-your-own — we’ve got our eyes on the Kentucky Hot Brown pizza
  • Six salads
  • Two soups — sausage soup + tomato bisque
  • Desserts like a cookie, brownie, and cheesecake

Meanwhile, there’s also the food hub — aka the grocery — that is open daily, 9 a.m.-9 p.m. It features foods from 49 Kentucky counties including produce, meat, dairy, and pantry items. Items will be available seasonally, which means there’s plenty of squash right now.
