You know what they say — Louisville is for lovers.

If you’re planning on celebrating Valentine’s Day in Derby City with your sweetheart, your best friends, or all on your own, we’ve rounded up some events to keep your heart full.

Ravels Romantic Reverie, Whitney Hall

Conductor Ken David Masur will lead this classical music concert celebrating love and romance. Pianist Louis Lortie joins the orchestra for compositions by Maurice Ravel, Cesar Fanck, and Toru Takemitsu. The concert runs both Friday, Feb. 14 at 11 a.m. and Saturday, Feb. 15 at 7:30 p.m. Bonus: Show up early for a free Heine Brothers coffee and pre-concert talk hosted by WUOL.

“Gnomebody But You” Valentine’s Paint Party, Purposeful Ponte

Celebrate early, or make a gift for the day-of, at this paint-and-sip event on Friday, Feb. 7, 6:30-8:30 p.m. You’ll walk out with a painted canvas of four gnomes holding the letters L-O-V-E — no experience necessary.

Shakespeare in Love Gala, 21c Museum Hotel

This annual Kentucky Shakespeare party has it all — live music, theater performances, tarot readings, poetry readings, raffles, and of course a lot of good food, music, and dancing. You’ll also be in the know, because Kentucky Shakespeare will announce its 65th season lineup. Sign up by Saturday, Feb. 1 for the event, which runs 7-11 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8.

My Bloody Valentine Murder Mystery Food Tour, NuLu

If your love language is true crime podcasts, this one’s for you. This themed food tour will have you sampling food and drinks from around NuLu, all the while gathering clues to solve a fictional murder. You and your boo can come ready to sleuth — and chow down — on Thursdays and Fridays, starting Jan. 16 and running through Feb. 28. The tours leave from Bar Nada Nada at 6 p.m.

Millennial Galentines Mixer, 1939 Goldsmith Ln.
This one’s for the gals. Join other millennial women at this mixer on Thursday, Feb. 13, 7:30 p.m. BYOB for a paint + sip, play galentine games, and enter to win prizes. The event is hosted by Alieshia N., host of the “Millennial Thoughts” podcast.
