It’s important to know the airport rules to create a safe and welcoming experience for your pet.

Calling all pet parents: You’re welcome to bring your furry friends along for a flight at Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport (SDF).

The only rule? Pets must remain in a carrier or crate throughout their time in the terminal, except when passing through the TSA security checkpoint or while using one of the two Pet Relief Areas at SDF. Be sure to also check the airline’s guidance for traveling with a pet prior to booking your next flight. More pet-friendly tips this way.
