Spring is officially less than two weeks away, springing up on March 19, and that means Louisvillians will be opening their windows + planning outdoor activities.
It also means glamping — aka glamorous camping — at Progress Park . Think: campfires, smores, and nature without having to pitch your own tent.
Progress Park is a 12-acre, all-inclusive glamping resort at 4501 Progress Blvd. in Buechel. The park features:
- Three houses + seven airstream trailers, with plans for an eighth this year, available for rent for $109-$224 per night — each includes a patio, fire pit, grill, and hammock
- A 2-acre pond with sandy beaches — kayaks, canoes and paddle boards are available + you can cast a line for catch-and-release fishing
- Activities like volleyball, shuffleboard, corn hole, pickleball, gaga ball, and more
Plus, Progress Park is planning to add a 10,000-sqft event space for weddings and other gatherings. The new space is slated to open in May.
