The zodiac signs as Louisville neighborhoods

Virgo: Shelby Park | Aug. 23-Sept. 22
This earth sign has very practical and grounded qualities, making the Shelby Park neighborhood a perfect fit. With historical features — like its Carnegie library that could soon be revived — the neighborhood is grounded in the past but not bounded by it. It’s a place for growth — Logan Street Market is a new business incubator — and there are tons of new businesses and restaurants popping up all the time.
Libra: Russell | Sept. 23-Oct. 22
Russell’s active, yet small-town vibe is just as balanced as a Libra. It’s a great place to stay active with several parks that are planned for the future — and it used to be home to Louisville’s only Major League Baseball team. And like Old Louisville, Russell has its fair share of Victorian charm too.
