New Germantown housing project in Louisville, KY

The developer responsible for the NuLu Phoenix Houses is moving to Germantown. Hensley Properties submitted plans for a new housing development at 933 and 935 Shelby Parkwaynear Kaiju + Atrium Brewingcalled Germantown Houses.

The two, 2,280-sq ft homes will have three bedrooms, two and a half baths, and horizontal brick porches with brick columns. The exterior of the houses will be made of new fiber cement shiplap siding + modern brick.

The project will also feature contemporary and unique designs like nine-foot-tall windows and doors + 360-degree cantilevers, or second-floor overhangs.

The houses will come with a price tag of around $500,000 and one of the two homes is already under contract.

Construction is set to begin in a month and is expected to be complete at the end of 2022.
