Louisville is full of places where a kid can be a kid , but where do the grownups go when they want some time away from the little ones?
Here are a few of our favorite spots to check out when you need a break from kiddos but don’t feel like bar hopping:
- There are a bunch of adults-only shindigs coming up at The Louisville Zoo, including happy hours and trivia nights.
- Most Kentucky Derby events are family friendly, but the KFC Yum! Center is introducing an adults-only Thunder Over Louisville party this year.
- The Kentucky Science Center hosts kid-free nights for the 21+ crowd with hands-on activities, drinks, light bites, and more. Sign up for their newsletter for updates.
- Select Louisville Historic Tours are for the 21+ crowd only, as they come with boozy beverages.
- The Quarry in La Grange lets guests 18+ float their worries away in a huge, spring-fed body of water. (City Editor Lennie goes every year.)
