Greenhaus Event Space coming to Germantown

A new event venue, Greenhaus Event Space, is joining the ever-growing Germantown community.

The venue will be located in a former industrial warehouse at 986 Swan St. just around the corner from Logan Street Market (~5 minute walk).

Greenhaus is expected to open later this fall, but eager beavers can get a first look at any of the upcoming monthly open houses + start booking events as early as this month. Its first open house will take place on Sun., May 22.

The space was purchased by MMCS Properties LLC in 2020 for $700,000 + given the name Greenhaus as a way to pay homage to the Germantown and Shelby Park neighborhoods that were originally populated by German immigrants.

Greenhaus includes a main, 7,250-sqft room which can be rented on its own or split in half via a heavy-duty curtain to create two smaller rentable rooms. This indoor area can host up to 450 guests.

A 5,300-sqft patio with an urban garden courtyard will also be available to rent + can accommodate 300 guests.

Rental rates

  • Weekdays — $2,500
  • Friday — $6,500
  • Saturday — $7,000
  • Sunday — $6,000

In addition to these areas, the venue will have private guest rooms, a catering kitchen, and a bourbon bar + provide basic amenitieslike tables and chairs.
