Applications now open for Art in City Hall

Artists can now apply to have their work shown for the fifth annual Art in City Hall exhibition.

Want to have your masterpiece shown in City Hall? Louisville Metro Council and Louisville Visual Art (LVA) are now accepting applications for the fifth annual Art in City Hall exhibition .

Easel up and submit an original, two-dimensional work of art for a chance to have your piece displayed. Submissions will be reviewed by a selection committee made up of Metro Council members and LVA staff.

Up to five artists will be chosen to have their work presented, and will also receive a $500 prize. Their pieces will be on display from March 2023 through February 2024 in City Hall’s entrance lobby, hallways, and public spaces.

Don’t delay — the deadline to submit is February 27.
