We want free bologna sandwiches for life

And we’re willing to change our names to get it.

We like the chicken tinga torta — but changing our names to “Taco Luchador” seems like too much of a commitment.

You may have heard that it’s National Sandwich Month, and Subway is offering one superfan the chance to win free sandwiches for life — all they have to do is legally change their name to “Subway.”

We’re gonna pass on this particular contest, but it did get us thinking about which Louisville restaurants could convince us to pull a similar stunt.

Here’s what we’d change our names to:

Lennie: “Sarino, Paseo , or Volare. I think people from Louisville would immediately make the connection, but anyone else would just think I had an unusual name.”

Katie: “First name ‘Big Al’s’, last name ‘Beeritaville.’ I would also be willing to go by Morris Deli or Vietnam Kitchen.”

Now, we want to know what you think. Which local restaurant would you be willing to change your name to, in exchange for a lifetime supply of its food? Tell us your hypothetical moniker here .
