ICYMI, Racing Louisville FC recently unveiled its special edition 2023 Home Kit (aka jersey), which features midnight violet and lavender colors in a houndstooth pattern, with a midnight violet collar and stripe down both sides under the sleeves. Fun fact: The Houndstooth Kit pays homage to Secretariat’s owner, Penny Chenery, 50 years after her colt’s iconic Triple Crown run.

Dubbed the First Lady of Racing, Chenery was known to wear houndstooth-patterned jackets as she broke barriers in a heavily male-dominated sport. The new kit is a celebration of pioneering women, the pursuit of excellence, and the sport and culture around it that so closely aligns with Racing Louisville’s home city and state.

Grab tickets to the next Racing game and cheer them on in their pursuit to become the 2023 NWSL Champions.
