Jack Harlow is flying “First Class” into the world of virtual reality.
The Grammy-nominated rapper, alongside Range Media Production and Media.Monks, partnered with Meta to produce a virtual reality (VR) concert + documentary, the first of its kind in the Metaverse.
The VR concert will premiere on Thursday, Jan. 4 at 8 p.m. EST in Meta Horizon Worlds, a free VR platform, as part of the Music Valley Concert Series. To get into the show, you’ll need a Meta Quest VR headset, which will cost you anywhere from $250 to $1,000. So far, 4,000+ people have registered to attend.
In addition to the concert, the experience will also combine a doc-style behind-the-scenes look at Harlow’s third annual “No Place Like Home” tour across Kentucky. Viewers will visit stops on the six-city tour in Owensboro, Pikeville, Covington, Murray, Bowling Green, and Lexington, giving them insight into Harlow’s home state.
And for those who like to do things the old- fashioned way, Harlow’s next in-person concert is in Houston, TX on Saturday, Jan. 6.

The Oxmoor Center is leveling up. Immersive Gamebox, a digital game company with patented tech, is opening a location inside the mall on Saturday, Dec. 22 — and there’s a life-sized Angry Birds slingshot.

Immersive Gamebox offers 11 different games that can each be played with up to six players + last 30-60 minutes. Some of the games are based on movies and TV shows, like “Squid Game,” “Ghostbusters,” and “Paw Patrol.” Others include original themes created by the company, like “Psychedelic Mansion.”

Speaking of Jack Harlow’s tour outfits, I especially liked his Cage The Elephant band tee that he wore during his show in Bowling Green, the same city Cage The Elephant is from. Harlow might be the first famous person from Kentucky to rep the Bluegrass so hard.
