The Oxmoor Center is leveling up. Immersive Gamebox, a digital game company with patented tech, is opening a location inside the mall on Saturday, Dec. 22 — and there’s a life-sized Angry Birds slingshot.

Located near Auntie Anne’s pretzels, the new entertainment center will offer six “gameboxes” — aka smart rooms — that utilize projection mapping, touch screens, surround sound, 3D motion tracking, and wearable high-tech visors.

Immersive Gamebox offers 11 different games that can each be played with up to six players + last 30-60 minutes. Some of the games are based on movies and TV shows, like “Squid Game,” “Ghostbusters,” and “Paw Patrol.” Others include original themes created by the company, like “Psychedelic Mansion.”

Press start Monday-Saturday, 10 a.m.-9 p.m. + Sunday, 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Pricing ranges from $29.99 to $34.99 per person.
