When you think of buying local, you might think about artists, small businesses, or gifts. You might even think about getting your groceries at one of Louisville’s farmer’s markets. But did you know you can sign up to receive a curated box of produce, meat, cheese, eggs, and other fresh ingredients, direct from a local farm?

Community Supported Agriculture — aka CSA — subscriptions are just that. Each farm’s CSA works a little differently, so we’ve rounded up some options so you can decide what works best for you.

Many CSA’s start service in the spring and run through fall or winter, but there’s still time to sign up for the tail end of the season, in case you want that farm-to-table menu for this Thanksgiving.
