Nic & Norman’s is open on Whiskey Alley (the backside of Whiskey Row) at 108 W. Washington St.

It’s the fourth location for the concept created by Norman Reedus and Greg Nicotero, who both worked on AMC’s “The Walking Dead.” Reedus is known for playing Daryl Dixon in front of the camera, and Nicotero was the special effects makeup artist on the show.

Though zombies brought the duo together, the restaurant is void of any Walkers.

Instead, what you will find is movie memorabilia spanning the pair’s careers, a really good meatloaf plate, and perhaps the longest bar in Louisville. Trust us, it’s really long.

All the burgers are stamped with the name of the restaurant.

Here are a few of our favorite things:

🍔 $10 lunch specials
Available Monday-Friday, downtowners can grab a smashburger, chicken Philly quesadilla, cobb salad, grilled cheese, and chili from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

🍺 Local beer + 10 cocktails
On tap you’ll find local breweries like Against the Grain and Monnik. From the shaker tin, both Reedus and Nicotero have their own drinks. The Reedus Ruffian is a bourbon cocktail with OJ, pimento dram, luxardo, and bitters. The Bloody Nicotero is a spin on the classic brunch drink with a “bloody eyeball.”

🍴 Homestyle meatloaf
The star of the Nic & Norman’s menu show is the meatloaf plate, served with mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, and cornbread. It’s made from a recipe that Reedus and Nicotero helped create.
