Here come the rings. Louisville will be the final proving ground for prospective members of Team USA ahead of the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
A multi-event extravaganza called Gymnastics City will be held in Louisville starting in early June, 2028. Two weeks of gymnastics competitions will culminate in the Team Trials at the KFC Yum! Center, where the US men’s and women’s gymnastics teams will select their members for the big games.
Expect fan activations in Fourth Street Live + other events throughout the city during the entire competition. Tickets will go on sale next year.
Bonus: Did you know? USA Gymnastics, the national governing body for gymnastics in the US, is headquartered just a couple hours north in Indianapolis.
Hockey might be the next sport to come to Louisville, according to a new plan being floated by Neace Ventures. The developer has plans to build a new stadium on the same property as Lynn Family Stadium. (Louisville Business First)

I knew I wanted to share this video with you all, but I’m honestly at a loss for words as to how to tee it up. Instead, I’ll just say that this short film comes from Louisville interdisciplinary artist + filmmaker Elle Hendrickson, and was recently featured as part of Paristown Hall’s outdoor film screening.
Please enjoy “Soiled Dreams,” then imagine seeing it outdoors on the big screen.
