Recently, a reader reached out to us asking where to donate used business clothing to give it a second life. We put out the word, and other readers delivered. Here are some places they recommended:
This charitable organization has a volunteer-operated clothing closet among its programs. Check out the donation drop-off hours, or consider donating your time as well.
A wing of the Student Success Center, Hire Attire provides free business clothes to UofL students for interviews, job fairs, and internships. Smaller sized men’s clothing, women’s blouses, and full suits are in the highest demand. Bonus: You can order items directly to Hire Attire via their Amazon wishlist.
A rezoning request has been submitted for the Franklin Street Baptist Church building in Butchertown. The plan outlines a new mixed use development featuring a boutique hotel and a spa. (Courier Journal)

‘Tis the season for racing. The Tour de Lou bike race will be this Sunday, April 12 starting at the Big Four Lawn in Waterfront Park. No roads will be closed, but keep an eye out for cyclists throughout Downtown, NuLu, and Butchertown.
