... The twelfth day after Christmas — one of the traditional final days to take your Christmas tree and decorations down. That’s where the “12 Days of Christmas” comes from.
Luckily for Louisvillians, there are several easy ways to toss the tree:
Bring natural, decoration-free trees to one of Louisville’s three drop-off locations.
If you live the Urban Services District, place trees and greenery at the curb on your regular city yard waste collection day.
Pro Tip: Curbside yard waste collection will continue through Friday, Jan. 16, then pause for the winter until late March.
The Buy
A long puffer vest with sophisticated quilted detailing. It’s under $20 and available in eight different colors.
I’m not completely cutting out alcohol for Dry January, but I am looking to cut back.
If you’re in the same boat, make plans to meet friends at Planet of the Tapes. Any of the movie-themed bar’s house cocktails can be made non-alcoholic, and they also offer NA options like homemade cucumber dill soda.
