From the minds behind The Merryweather comes this new nautical-themed Butchertown bar. YachtSea features nautical-themed drinks, an oyster bar, and hot dogs — along with pinball.

Lawrence Weeks’ new restaurant will feature casual pub dining on the first floor, with dinner service and a cocktail program on the upper level.

JCPS broke ground on the Kerrick Elementary School building this week, which is expected to open by fall of 2027. It’s part of a 10-year plan to build or renovate 25 schools in the district. (WHAS11)

The Wrap

From now through December, over 50 locations around town will host talks, exhibits, and workshops all centered around the art of photography. I’ve got my eye — or should I say lens — on the UofL Archives photo reception next Wednesday.
