The real stars of the show in Louisville are its neighborhoods. | Photo by Louisville Tourism
One of the most lovable things about Louisville is the distinct character found in each neighborhood. They all have their own personalities and purposes — some would say it was written in the stars.
To celebrate the start of Libra season, let’s take a look at how our neighborhoods align with the zodiac signs.
Libra: Russell | Sept. 23-Oct. 22
Russell’s active yet small-town vibe is just as balanced as a Libra. It’s a great place to stay active, and it used to be home to Louisville’s only Major League Baseball team. Russell also has its fair share of Victorian charm.
Scorpio: Beechmont | Oct. 23-Nov. 21
The aura of Beechmont’s picturesque Southern Parkway perfectly encapsulates this water sign. With iconic landmarks like Colonial Gardens and neighborhood spots like Annie’s Cafe that aren’t hard on your wallet, the Beechmont neighborhood provides the perfect welcome for its crown jewel — the 725+ acres of Iroquois Park.
