    I consider myself a bit of a science fiction buff, but only recently discovered the short story “They’re Made of Meat.”

    I was so intrigued by this strange little story that I looked into the author, Terry Bisson. And wouldn’t you know it? Bisson is a UofL grad. He graduated in 1964 after leaving Grinnell College — his protesting is considered to be the start of the student peace movement.
