That’s why we’ve created this campaign with a goal to raise $2,500 by the end of the week. If you’ve gotten something out of being subscribed to LOUtoday, like finding that life-changing concert in our Events section. Or using our City Guides to plan the perfect way to spend the day with family, we couldn’t be more honored to be a part of your life — and we’re calling on you now to help support our mission.

    The Wrap

Last week, I wrote about some of Louisville’s acting talent, including Ned Beatty. I got a few comments + emails from fans of Beatty’s work, and I fear I may have underplayed his cinematic accomplishments. So here’s a few more of his greatest hits:

Beatty had a costarring role in 1972’s “Deliverance,” and a supporting role in 1976’s “Network.” He also played sidekick to Gene Hackman’s Lex Luthor in the 1970s Superman movies. Several readers also mentioned other actors from Louisville — so keep an eye out for an update to that article down the line.
