Under the category “Sports & The City,” the clue was: “At 800 West Main & 700 Central in this city are a company & a venue both involved in Triple Crowns.”
Of the three contestants, only one was correct — way to go, Chris. The other two, defending champ Paul + the show’s eventual winner Mikey, guessed St. Louis and Lexington, respectively.
The clue references the Louisville Slugger Factory + Churchill Downs and their ties to the Triple Crowns of baseball and horse racing.
That got us thinking: How many times has Derby City been featured on the famous quiz show?
