Louisville is always seeing new businesses pop up — so many it can be hard to keep up.

If you’re looking for a new place to quench your thirst — in the morning with a cup of Joe or in the evening with a glass of wine — these new spots have just the thing.

Oddbird

Celebrating its grand opening tomorrow, this new bakery + cafe, located in the former Steel City Pops space, comes from the same minds behind Quills Coffee. Pair your morning brew with a fresh pastry — like a danish or croissant — and bring home a loaf of bread for lunch.

Fizz District

A modern-day soda counter on Frankfort Avenue, Fizz District serves soft drinks + seltzers made from fresh fruit, along with zero-proof mocktails. They’re available with add-ins like collagen peptides for your skin, electrolyte hydration boosts, vitamins, and pre-workout formulas.

A talking peppermint candy puppet, evil AI overlords, and multiversal time travel sounds like the plot to a new holiday classic.

Drag queens Jinkx Monsoon and BenDeLaCreme are bringing the sixth iteration of their holiday tour “The Jinkx and DeLa Holiday Show” to Louisville’s Brown Theatre on Saturday, Dec. 7. The comedy duo has written a new holiday show each year for a national tour, so expect fresh songs, jokes, and more.

If you’re looking for a sneak peek, watch the trailer and check out videos of last year’s show, including songs like “Krampus Baby” and “Smart Spender.”

Jinkx Monsoon is a two-time winner of “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” and BenDeLaCreme has appeared on two seasons of the MTV show.

Tickets for the 18+ performance are on sale now, starting at $69, with VIP add-ons like a post-show Q+A and photo ops available seperately.
