  • Banana Ball is coming back to Derby City next summer. After selling out Louisville Slugger Field last summer, the Savanna Party Animals are returning for their 2025 Banana Ball World Tour, June 26-28. Don’t get caught slippin’ — the ticket lottery is open through Nov. 1.

  • $17,000. That’s how much the most expensive horse went for at the Gallopalooza auction last week. Disco Horse was the belle of the ball, fetching the highest price of all 31 horses up for bids.

  • There are 30 loft-style townhouses coming to the Douglass Hills neighborhood in the Burnett Ridge Lofts development. The ~$10 million development is expected to be complete by next summer.
