Burdorf Interiors announced it will close this week. The custom furniture store has been in operation since 1867 — it started out manufacturing gas lights, fireplace mantles, and fire brick. Current inventory has been marked down for liquidation. (Louisville Business First)

Louisvillian Katelyn Webb was selected to join the band DISTURBED live on stage during their Saturday, Sept. 28 performance during Louder Than Life. Webb was picked by the band to sing on the song “Don’t Tell Me,” which originally featured Ann Wilson.
