Shoutout to the 31 Kentucky companies that ranked among the fastest-growing private companies in the nation on the 2023 Inc. 5000 list.

Inc.com determined rankings according to percentage of revenue growth over a three-year period. The Louisville area is home to eight companies that made the list this year, which includes businesses that had a median growth of 265% — six of which are repeat honorees. Meet the local companies that made the cut.

No. 37: Dan-O’s Seasoning, Louisville

Growing up, Christiana B. struggled to make friends and focus in school because of an overwhelming home life. Through YMCA’s Safe Place Services Y-NOW mentoring program, she found a non-judgmental community going through similar challenges. Her mentor Elizabeth Lacefield spent quality time with her and helped support her mental and emotional health.

Kentucky Association of Health Plans will be giving away a free unlimited ride wristband, while supplies last, when Kentucky State Fair attendees visit the Health Horizons Pavilion to receive a vaccination. Available vaccines include measles, mumps, tetanus, and more.

JCPS is implementing bus tracking technology to help with transportation issues. A mobile app will allow parents to keep track of buses + set notifications to alert them when their child’s bus is nearby. The app is slated to be up and running when students return to school tomorrow, Aug. 18. (WHAS11)

Racing Louisville FC wants to see a 10,000-person crowd at their game at Lynn Family Stadium this Saturday, Aug. 19. “Fill the Fam” fans can expect a post-game fireworks show, a T-shirt giveaway, free posters for the first 2,500 fans, live music, food trucks, and lawn games. Get your tickets.
