Papa Johns is launching a space-inspired pizza.

The new pizza will feature chorizo.

Or at least that’s what Papa Johns thinks. The pizza chain — which was founded in Jeffersonville, IN in 1984 — is introducing the world’s first space-inspired pizza. We call that a giant leap for Louisville-kind since the pizza empire was headquartered here until 2020.

The pie will feature chorizo — which is famous for having flown into space with Spanish astronaut Pedro Duque in 1998.

While the US isn’t on the initial launch list, you can buy the matching lipstick in the meantime. Yes, you read that right. Chelsie Lane cosmetics has created a limited edition Chorizo Style Lipstick to celebrate the new pizza.
