“How soon is too soon to put up your holiday decorations?” is an important question this time of the year.
At the Frazier History Museum, it’s beginning to look a lot like the holidays. That’s because the museum just received a delivery of 100+ trees ahead of the Fifth Annual “Lights on Main” exhibition.
From Wednesday, Nov. 20 through Friday, Jan. 6, three floors of the museum will be festooned with holiday trees, each decorated by members of the Derby City community. Last year, there were Barbie, Paw Patrol, and bourbon-themed trees.
Tickets for the exhibition are included with museum admission, and there are several special events, so mark your calendar:
- Lights on Main Preview Party | Thursday, Nov. 21
- Kentucky Christmas, Y’all | Thursday, Dec. 5
- Ugly Sweater Night | Thursday, Dec. 12
- Free Family Day | Sunday, Dec. 15
- Late Night Thursday: Classic Christmas | Thursday, Dec. 19
