Presents are nice, but how about giving dad the gift of time with loved ones this Father’s Day? We’ve rounded up special happenings around LOU to ensure this Sunday, June 18, is a day dad won’t soon forget.

Ford Father’s Day at the Louisville Zoo
Fathers get free admission 10 a.m.-5 p.m., so you can spend the day visiting all your favorite animals with dad.

Mellwood Handmade Market + Father’s Day Cookout
This free monthly pop-up market at Mellwood Art Center is dedicated to dads. Stumps Diner will be grilling hamburgers and hot dogs, plus there will be kids games, live music, and vendors.

Leisure Cruise
Celebrate Father’s Day aboard the Belle of Louisville. Float down the Ohio River while enjoying tunes by the Kiana Duo. Tickets start at $12.99.

Louisville Bats vs. St. Paul Saints
Take dad out to a ball game at Slugger Field, and get one free kids meal per child. Post-game, kids can run the bases and play catch with dad.
